Jess Gonzales, LMSW, is a New York State License Master of Social Work. She earned her master’s in social work at New York University. She works with adults navigating complex trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and the many challenges of living in the modern world. She is particularly passionate about working with individuals who have experienced iatrogenic trauma, or harm from medical and/or psychiatric treatment.

As a Mad studies-informed clinician, Ms. Gonzales has a deep respect for each individual’s autonomy and expertise in their own life, and fosters a highly collaborative therapeutic relationship. She works from an anti-oppressive framework, is disability- and LGBTQ+ affirming, and sees clients with a diverse range of racial and ethnic identities. She is a member of the Institute for the Development of Human Arts, The International Society for Psychological Social Approaches to Psychosis, and Kintsugi Therapist Collective.
