Hello! Our clinic specializes in eating disorders (EDs), PTSD, borderline personality disorder (BPD), anxiety, depression, and emotion dysregulation. We use treatments that have proven efficacy whenever possible and are committed to staying abreast of the latest research in the field. Our director, Dr. Julie Trim, served as Director of the UCSD Adult Eating Disorders program for 11+ years and is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at UCSD. Dr. Trim has directly supervised countless psychology trainees, publishes in scientific journals, gives presentations and trainings, and holds leadership positions in professional organizations. We have extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and are proud to provide adherent individual DBT, DBT skills groups, and phone coaching. We also provide evidence-based ED treatment, and offer meal support at Gravity Heights (an award-winning restaurant next to our office) for clients who need nutritional support or help with food exposures. While we all try to savor the goodness in life, it's not always easy. There are so many stressors that we face in today's world, so many competing demands. Things that you used to do easily may now be hard, or things others do easily may feel impossible. Whether it's a long-standing problem or a bump in the road, getting professional help can be life-changing.
I am a Marriage & Family Therapist who uses a strength-based approach rooted in authenticity, compassion, and understanding. My approach is informed by Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I enjoy working with a variety of concerns including relational distress in families & couples, emotional & behavioral issues in children & adolescents & healing from past trauma. I place a high value on building a trustworthy collaborative therapeutic relationship with my clients. About My Practice College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring a lot of pressure - academically, socially, personally, and emotionally. You may be doing well on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. I’m a licensed psychotherapist who works with young adults navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, self-confidence, transitions, and the pressure to succeed. My approach combines psychotherapy, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and neuroscience-informed strategies to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and judgment-free. You don’t have to wait until things feel unmanageable to reach out. Whether you're struggling with a specific challenge or simply know that something needs to shift, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain perspective, and figure out what you need. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally resilient, and able to move through college and into adulthood in a way that feels genuinely like your own.

I'm an educational psychologist who specializes in assessment and coaching. I assess for learning disabilities, ADHD, ASD, and other mental health issues that get in the way of learning or being successful at school. I can help you understand your learning profile and help you both get and be able to effectively utilize accommodations to support you at your school. I also am an ADHD specialist and I do "executive function coaching" which is basically coaching to help you manage your life from your homework, to your life at home, to your job. Additionally I can help you explore and prepare for your transition to post secondary education or to work. Many students do not know what they want to do once they leave high school or college. I can help you explore your options and choose a route. Think of me as your wellness coach for education and young adulthood success!
A warm, calm, non-judgmental, supportive, safe, environment is provided for my clients. The therapy session is yours, not mine, and we go at a pace that is comfortable for you. I work collaboratively with clients to help find a solution or a better way to cope with their struggles. Together we try various coping skills, build on strengths that are already present, instill hope, and recognize that you are not alone on this journey. The use of various techniques and therapeutic methods are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual client.
Great to meet you! As a board-certified licensed therapist, I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults with a variety of backgrounds. My primary goal is to create an authentic connection with each of my clients to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I believe that our past influences our present, especially when faced with challenging life experiences. Together, within our built safe space, we will explore how your past experiences influence your current thoughts and behaviors - to improve your awareness and identify areas for positive change. I believe in balancing validation and empathy with a directive, solution-focused approach that offers specific strategies to enact change. I treat anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, self-harm/suicidal ideation, substance use, anger management, grief, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues, identity development, and life transitions. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches because it is important to me to adapt my style to honor the current needs of each of my clients. I always begin our work together with an introductory session, when you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve through therapy. We’ll work together, collaborate on your goals and create a plan that feels most comfortable to you. Building trust is important to our therapeutic relationship, and will take our time easing into processing your thoughts and experiences. I will remain committed to supporting and guiding as we work together to make your goals a reality.

Hello, my name is Stacy Udolph, LCSW. I specialize in helping individuals manage stress, navigate life transitions, strengthen relationships, process grief, and overcome the fears and self-doubt that can interfere with personal growth, success, and well-being. I have been working in college counseling for the past 12 years, supporting young adults as they adjust to college life, develop greater independence, and prepare for their future careers and professional lives. I understand that the transition to college can bring unique academic, social, and emotional challenges, and I enjoy helping students build the skills and confidence needed to thrive during this important stage of life. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, where I received comprehensive training in mental health assessment and treatment, with a particular focus on understanding how patterns of thinking influence mood, behavior, and overall functioning. In addition, I have completed specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief counseling, and mindfulness-based approaches for anxiety and depression. With more than 26 years of combined experience as a therapist and educator, I recognize the importance of creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions and personal challenges. My goal is to help students gain insight, develop practical coping strategies, and make meaningful changes that enhance their quality of life. Clients often appreciate my calm, collaborative approach and my focus on providing concrete tools and techniques that can be applied in everyday situations. I believe therapy should be both supportive and effective, helping you better understand yourself while building skills that promote resilience and long-term well-being. I look forward to partnering with you as you navigate life's challenges and work toward your personal and academic goals.

I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who focuses on real ways to change the ways you feel about yourself and your life. Together you will learn tools to use to change your thoughts, tools that you can take with you and use for the rest of your life. I practice with you in session, and provide homework for you to do outside of our sessions for additional reinforcement. In addition to helping people struggling with depression or bipolar disorder, I also focus on supporting families who have a loved one with a mental health issue. This might mean helping them connect to treatment, or focus on the ways that their own interactions contribute to the problem. I help people decrease codependency, and focus on their own lives and wellness. I also specialize in helping families who are experiencing infertility. I meet individually or with couples who are experiencing this problem, and help them navigate treatment as well as the multitude of emotions that come from struggling to create a family. As someone who experienced this problem myself, I speak the language and know the grief that comes with this unexpected and difficult challenge.
