Through 20 years on staff at the University of Colorado-Boulder CAPS before transitioning to private practice, I have extensive experience in providing psychotherapy services to graduate and undergraduate students presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders such as OCD and trauma as well as additional concerns from sleep problems to self-acceptance and managing stress. I am trained in evidence-based approaches such as ERP, IFS, ACT and EMDR, with a style that is warm, interactive, collaborative and relational. I provide online therapy via a secure videoconferencing platform. I welcome the opportunity to connect and see if I am the right therapist to help you thrive in your personal and academic journeys.
Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
My Approach: Direct and Compassionate - I believe these are the two greatest traits I can bring into my work with others. While working with clients I strive to provide honest feedback that will help guide them forward towards recovery while offering compassion along the journey. I believe that the best route to change is a direct one that does not beat around the bush. The road to recovery of any form can be very difficult as life may be in a state of turmoil. I have found that offering a compassionate approach that fits an individual's needs is the best route to take. My specialities/areas of focus are: substance abuse, addiction and trauma. I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have additional trainings in Brainspotting and DBT. In my work as a counselor and my own life I have found that connection is of incredible importance. Inability or unwillingness to feel and express uncomfortable emotions can keep people disconnected. Through the process of recovery, lifestyle changes, and personal growth many people experience fear, anger, sadness, and many other emotions.

Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT), and I work with students who are navigating all the messy, beautiful, confusing parts of being human—especially during a time like college, when everything feels like it’s shifting. You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Maybe you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you’re becoming, and that’s okay. It’s normal to want some support while you're figuring things out. In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s calm, non-judgmental, and focused on you. I use a mix of approaches—CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused work—but more than anything, I show up with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace and your story. I became a therapist because I know how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and heard. I bring my own love of creativity, deep listening, and belief in people’s resilience into the room with me. You don’t have to have the right words or a plan, just bring yourself. We’ll figure it out together.
You deserve a therapist who understands your life in all its complexity. My clients are individuals and couples working through anxiety, depression, grief, identity questions, and strain in their relationships. Many have struggled to find a therapist who can help them feel comfortable exploring more challenging parts of their lives. A lot of my work is with men who learned early that self-reliance was supposed to be enough. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients and with people exploring nonmonogamy and kink. I want that to be a place of affirmation, not something you have to explain or defend. My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems. I'm a Certified IFS therapist and have served as a teaching assistant for the IFS Institute. IFS meets the parts of you that feel stuck with curiosity instead of judgment. I also draw on CBT, psychodynamic, and relational work. Before this, I spent a decade in business, government, and nonprofits. That background gives me a feel for the real-world pressures people carry into the room. Reaching out is often the hardest part. Whether you're feeling stuck or just ready to understand yourself better, I'd be glad to talk. I see clients virtually across New York, New Jersey, and Colorado, and I offer a free 15-minute consultation.
My clients are often motivated, high-achievers who struggle with anxiety or feeling like they are 'not enough' and may go to perfectionism, substances, or a combination to cope. Using mindfulness breathing techniques and talk therapy focused on clarifying your values, I'm here to provide relief!

Welcome! I know from my own experiences as well as the many clients I have worked with over the years that therapy is an important pathway towards growth and healing. We will create a space where you can be open, expressive, learn new ways of seeing yourself and the world, new ways to cope with the challenges of life, and create new paths to relationship. We work together to bring wholeness, connection and a rediscovery of your strength and purpose. I am sensitive to the parts of our selves that make us unique, which includes different expressions of gender, sexuality, culture, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, political ideology, religion, LGTBQIA2S+ identity, and intersectionality. I use mindfulness, my own therapy and consultation to help me address bias that might come up in my work. I partner with clients with an orientation towards social justice, honoring difference and our own deep knowledge of ourselves and our needs.
Feeling overwhelmed by college life? Between classes, deadlines, social pressure, and trying to figure out what’s next, it’s a lot. Maybe you’re struggling with imposter syndrome, a breakup, feeling isolated or lonely, or even questioning who you are and where you fit in. The loss of relationships, shifts in identity, anxiety, and depression can all pile up fast. You’re not alone—and you don’t have to push through it by yourself. I specialize in working with college students who are balancing academics, relationships, and personal challenges. Whether you’re navigating stress, self-doubt, loneliness, or a major life transition, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel confusing and overwhelming. Let’s work together to help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your journey.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling lost and isolated by persistent grief or conflicting expectations. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel truly understood and valued. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, and I have worked in the counseling field for over 30 years, beginning my career as a wilderness counselor. I earned my master's degree in 1989 and my doctorate in 2016. If you are seeking support to navigate life's challenges and want a counselor who will listen with empathy and help you feel seen, I invite you to connect with my practice. Together, we can find your path forward.
My practice is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their experiences, build resilience, and develop the tools necessary for healing. I specialize in trauma-informed care, helping individuals understand and manage the impact of trauma on their lives, relationships, and overall well-being. With a deep commitment to fostering emotional and psychological growth, I draw on evidence-based therapies and a client-centered approach to empower clients in reclaiming their stories. My goal is to guide individuals in transforming pain into strength, creating paths forward that are rooted in safety, trust, and self-empowerment. I believe that healing is not just about addressing the past—it’s about empowering clients to thrive in the present and build a future they truly deserve. I am passionate about providing culturally sensitive care that considers the intersectionality of race, gender, and socio-economic factors in each person’s experience of trauma. If you or a loved one are navigating difficult times, I would be honored to get to know you and explore how I can support your healing journey. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about my approach or how I can help meet your needs.
I have worked with hundreds of University students over the years supporting ADHD, anxiety, panic and depression as well as bipolar and other psychotic or early psychotic symptoms that can emerge around early adulthood. I take the time to listen and we make a treatment plan based on the whole you in the world, not just your symptoms. I have decades of experience as an herbalist and natural healthcare provider and this perspective deeply informs my practice. I work hard to prescribe accurately and with the lowest doses and fewest medications possible. I am a safe space provider for any gender, sexuality, religious or political affiliation. Come as you are, Im excited to meet you.
I have worked in mental health since 2011 with a wide range of people. I mostly help people who are experiencing the effects of stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, among other things. I focus on building a quality relationship with people I work with, where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I also incorporate approaches that draw on recent neuroscience research in order to provide tools and resources that can be used in the present moment, while we find ways of addressing underlying causes and creating long term change. Many people who find their way to me have already been in therapy and are looking for something a little different from traditional "talk therapy". I am committed to multiculturalism and am a LGBTQ+ ally. A few modalities I employ are EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Gottman Institute, Experiential/Somatic/Gestalt (including parts work). Please feel free to explore the website, or reach out if you have any questions. Thank you.
We use a process of looking at the imagination, loose associations, and dream material to help integrate subconscious depths with conscious material. The invisible is welcome and we will work best to support you. Surprise us with the breadth of the unknown. We work with individuals, not issues.
I help clients feel less anxious and more authentic in their relationships. I believe that many people experience struggle in their lives as a result of growing distant from their emotional compasses. I work with individual clients and couples to reconnect with these aspects of their experiences. While I work with clients of all genders, I hold a particular interest and expertise in working with men. I approach sessions with a compassion, humor, and directness. In my experience, change begins when we observe the way our patterns continue to lead to distress in our lives. I help clients identify approaches to shifting these patterns. Through this process, clients often find themselves feeling more authentic and fulfilled in their relationships. If you are interested in the approach described here, please reach out. I would love to hear from you.
