We are a group practice specializing in eating disorders, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and the LGBTQ+ population. We work from a psychodynamic and relational perspective. We value therapeutic relationships and commitment to change.
When is the last time you intentionally gave yourself (or others) grace? No really… when was the last time? Life comes at us quick and if we’re not careful, we’ll find ourselves struggling with unforgiveness, anger, self-doubt and more; because we allowed the battles we face to win. The truth is, they don’t have to win. We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can learn to control how we respond. We can make the necessary changes to show up in this world in a way that brings us joy and fulfillment. Living Intentionally to Transform (LITT) was created to provide a safe space for YOU to process through life’s troubles. I specialize in working with adolescents, athletes, college students and adults. When serving clients, my approach is simple… come as you are! I strive to always provide a space for clients to just, be. No pressure to act, talk or show up in a certain way. You can expect to be met with respect and understanding at all times and for me to be fully, me. For those who are Christians, you will also find a place to grow in your faith. When seeking a provider, most people desire someone with similar beliefs and/or morals. It’s also important for many to be able to feel a sense of connectivity with the person they are trusting for services. Well, let me share a little about myself. I am a PROUD HBCU graduate from theeeeee Winston Salem State University. I am also a graduate of Georgia State University where I received my Masters in Social Work. Most would describe me as laid back, transparent and silly. My clients would likely say that I’m one that will “keep it real” but also share a good laugh with you when needed. I will challenge you but also support you. I love time with family and have a special place in my heart for athletes as I am a previous athlete and coach myself. Did I mention I love cheesecake? Alright, alright.. enough about me… are you ready? Potential presenting issues/specialties: - stress - athletics/ sports performance - social life - peer relationships - family relationships - intimate relationships / Couples - anxiety - childhood traumas - life adjustments or changes - balance - spirituality/religion - time management - self doubt This list is not exhaustive of the reasons one may seek therapy. If you think LITT may be a good fit, reach out today. **Disclaimer: Due to licensing laws for therapist, I can only see clients who reside in the state of Georgia in which I am licensed.** To schedule a consultation -> https://jenae-ingram.clientsecure.me/

Regardless of what brings you to counseling, my goal is to truly understand you as a human being and the unique perspectives, experiences, and identities that you bring into the room and how best to support and challenge you in your growth. My hope as your counselor is that you can bring your authentic self and feel safe to dive deep and gain insight and self-awareness so that you can make the change you are looking for. I feel honored to sit with clients and be entrusted with their stories. I am often inspired by my clients and the things they share. I want counseling to feel collaborative and for you to have a say in your experience, therefore, openness, communication and feedback is so important to me. I specialize in trauma, religious trauma, self-harm, grief and loss, identity exploration, self-esteem, life transitions, substance use, and process addictions. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals exploring their identity, gender, and/or sexual orientation. As a former athlete, I also enjoy supporting athletes managing performance pressures and daily stressors. Building a strong therapeutic relationship based on mutual trust, respect, and honor is of the utmost importance to me. I believe in tailoring my services to each individual, taking the time to understand your unique thought processes, emotional coping mechanisms, tendencies, and habits, in order to ensure that my interventions align with your way of being. Empathy, safety and care are essential to me throughout the healing journey. I hold myself and my clients accountable to the goals we set together, approaching our work with diligence, consideration, and grace. Navigating life's challenges can feel impossible at times, even if we find ourselves seemingly surrounded by support. Are you in the middle of a life transition, unsure of the next steps to take to help you move forward? Are you open to exploring past and present experiences in a judgment-free space, in the hopes of bringing you closer to emotional freedom? In my work with adult individuals, I integrate mindfulness practices and various evidence-based techniques to help you develop healthy coping mechanisms, build self-compassion, and create a more fulfilling life. I approach my work in therapy with a trauma-informed, person-focused, eclectic perspective. This means that I use a variety of tools and techniques in therapy (e.g., psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, CBT, DBT, integrative family systems, Emotionally-Focused Therapy), curated to support each client’s needs in the moment. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to live a life that aligns with your values and desired outcomes. Our past experiences may continue to be a part of us, but it is my hope that our work together will empower you to be your own unique person, flaws and all.

As a Somatic Therapist and Intuitive Eating Counselor, I blend talk therapy with body-based techniques to help people rediscover their innate wisdom and hunger for life. Instead of getting caught in a spiral of prescriptive “shoulds” as related to eating, exercise, perfectionism, anxiety or depression, my holistic approach allows you to slowly become more aware of your unique bodily rhythms, relational needs, gut instincts and deeper hungers from the inside-out. I love helping people reconnect with their body-mind-spirit from a trauma-informed, depth-oriented, expressive arts, and all-bodies-welcome approach. With a great appreciation for the body’s wisdom, early developmental imprinting and expanding one’s intuition, I draw upon nervous system science, attachment theory and trauma-informed somatic therapy to help clients feel supported and empowered in their bodies and lives. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we move and make art, sometimes we explore developmental shapes or movement patterns, and sometimes we do all three. You set the pace.
I understand how challenging and overwhelming college life can be. Between juggling classes, navigating relationships, and planning for the future, it’s easy to feel stressed, stuck, or uncertain. I’m here to help you tackle these challenges head-on. If you’re feeling anxious about academic pressures, overwhelmed by life transitions, or struggling with self-doubt, you’re not alone. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you focus on what truly matters to you and build the tools to move toward your goals. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which can help you move beyond past difficulties—whether they are related to trauma or other challenges—that may be contributing to present issues. I look forward to speaking with you - let’s see if I would be a good match for your needs! INSURANCE NOTE: I do take Aetna Student Health insurance, however I'm not a CORE provider (Tier 1). I am an In-network (Tier 2), preferred provider with Aetna, and Aetna Student Health Insurance will have a different rate/copy, &/or coinsurance amount for Tier 2 providers than for CORE providers. Although I may be able to explain potential differences in coverage, I encourage you to check your insurance benefits for the differences between in-and out-of-network providers and the difference between core and non-core providers, whether your deductible has been met, and the required copay/co-insurance information for the cost of the session prior to making an appointment.
My name is Dakota Fidram, an associate professional counselor providing affirmative therapy in Atlanta, GA. I have worked with a wide range of diverse clients. Many of my previous clients have sought help for depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflict, and more. Here are some of the areas I am passionate about serving: identity exploration, LGBTQ+, chronic disability/ invisible illness, alternative spirituality, existential questions, polyamory/open relationships. I offer in-person sessions Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays 12pm to 6pm. I offer online virtual sessions Monday through Friday 12pm to 6pm. I have worked with a wide range of diverse clients. My prior experiences in both a community clinic setting as well as a university setting has put me in contact with a variety of client issues. Many of my previous clients have sought help for depression, anxiety, family/relationship conflict, substance use, adjusting to difficult life transitions, exploring and redefining personal identities, and sometimes simply learning more about who they are and who they want to be. Here is a snapshot of my specialty areas: Depression Anxiety/Panic Attacks Identity exploration LGBTQ+ Life transitions Chronic Disability/ Invisible Illness Alternative spirituality Existential questions Before studying and graduating with a master of science degree in clinical mental health counseling, I studied and taught French and Francophone language, literature, and culture. Having studied in Quebec, Canada and having taught English in France reinforced my devotion for expanding perspectives and developing insight. I eventually decided to apply my passion for introspection and self-exploration to help those who need a guiding hand through life's trials and travails. Upon returning to the US, I enrolled in the University of North Georgia's counseling program. I interned in a community counseling setting in North Georgia as well as in a college counseling setting at Kennesaw State University. These experiences continued to inspire me to help those in most need of sensitive care, such as the LGBTQ+ community. Insight and introspection can be lifesavers when we feel as though we’ve lost our way. Learning new ways of handling and adapting to all of life’s changes can be revitalizing. We can grow through obtaining new perspective. I would be excited to be there with you on your path as a co-journeyer and as a provider of objective, researched-based counseling.
