I work with children, families, and adults who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Whether it’s managing big emotions, navigating family dynamics, or finding a sense of self, my clients want to feel safe, connected, and empowered. They come to therapy hoping to build tools, gain insight, and create meaningful change. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, creating a safe space to explore challenges while building tools to manage emotions, reduce stress, strengthen relationships, and foster growth. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful change that supports healing and resilience. Everyone deserves a place where they can feel heard, valued, and supported. My hope is that therapy becomes that place for you. If you’re considering starting, I encourage you to reach out, I’d be glad to connect and see how I can help.
Hi all! Ready for a change? I work primarily around depression, anxiety and life's transitions. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here to provide a supportive environment. Alternatively, if you're looking for some strategies to make positive changes in your life, let's do it!
Welcome! Reaching out and embarking on the journey of the therapeutic process is vulnerable and incredibly brave. I work with folks who are experiencing a range of life's challenges, including OCD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and relational challenges. I also have a special interest and experience in working with perinatal concerns. I build my practice around the belief that the most impactful therapeutic work occurs when there is a strong foundation of trust and understanding between the client and therapist. I will work to create a space with you where you can feel seen, heard, and safely challenged to grow and flourish.
With a background in school counseling, I have developed a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. Through this experience, I provided short- and long-term individual counseling services, career counseling, crisis intervention, and group psychotherapy. I am particularly equipped to help clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic and social stress, career exploration, adjustment issues, self-esteem, and emotional regulation, among other general mental health concerns. Drawing on a strengths-based approach, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to guide clients in identifying their strengths, setting goals, building resilience, and developing adaptive coping strategies. I am committed to integrating therapeutic approaches and techniques that best fit each client’s needs. I believe in cultivating a therapeutic relationship through a warm, non-judgmental, collaborative environment. I strive to have clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives toward their growth and well-being. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development to better serve my clients.
You’re used to keeping it together, even when it’s hard. Maybe you're the overthinker, the perfectionist, the one who’s always there for everyone else. But lately, it’s been a lot: anxiety, life changes, big questions about who you are and where you’re headed. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and find tools that actually help. I work with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions. My style is warm, supportive, and grounded in trauma-informed CBT. Together, we’ll get curious about what’s going on beneath the surface and build skills to help you move forward. When you are ready to talk, call Gracefully Balanced Counseling at our office number or shoot me an email. We can schedule your free 15 minute consultation, where you can learn more about my approach and if we would make a good fit!

Therapy is not always easy. But that doesn't mean it is without joy. In therapy, we get to come to an appreciation of both joy and sorrow that are the consequences of living a fully human life. Through appropriate challenge and support, we are able to expand the range of our humanity and our participation in the world. My approach is grounded in brief psychodynamic models of treatment. I believe that therapy can help make us conscious of the adjustments we have made to cope with our life circumstances and can shine a light on new possibilities towards greater authenticity. I continually seek to improve my own utility as a therapist, and I read voraciously towards that end. My understanding of psychology, sociology, and social work provide not only a foundation for understanding client struggles, but also a basis from which to conceptualize growth and solutions.

I specialize in supporting high-achieving, people-pleasing, ultra-compassionate health care professionals who can no longer continue to do it all BUT aren't sure how to do less, and need support to figure it out. My therapy approach focuses on solutions and skill-building. We'll explore the issues you're facing and take concrete steps toward positive change. I want counseling to be a positive and collaborative experience for everyone who steps through my door. I primarily work with adults and young adults to address a variety of symptoms, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, intellectual disabilities, OCD, substance use, and more. Together, we will work toward embracing your differences and using your strengths to help accomplish your goals. I use an eclectic approach to counseling, meaning that I use methods from a variety of disciplines based on what will benefit each unique person. Some of the disciplines that I often draw from include CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. You are the expert in your own life, I am here to help you reach your full potential and achieve your goals. My ultimate goal is to make you feel safe, comfortable, and free from judgement during our sessions. Creating a space where you can be your true, authentic self is one of my top priorities. I believe that sessions should be a collaborative space full of honesty, genuineness, and even some humor at times.
Sometimes we reach points in life where we feel stuck. We might be trapped in loops of negative thoughts, or feel like we’ve hit a dead end in our career or intimate relationships. When we reach out for support and connection, we find that the technology that was supposed to connect us has left us more isolated than ever. Individually or as a couple, I will help you create a space to reflect and process difficult thoughts and emotions–cultivating hope and building a deeper sense of meaning in your life story. My work is informed by psychodynamic theory and existential therapy. Both are depth-oriented approaches that emphasize exploring unconscious behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. This exploration helps us better understand ourselves and integrate our difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences to build more satisfying relationships with ourselves and others. Seeking help can feel very difficult, especially if we have been misunderstood or judged by others. If anything in my profile resonates with you I hope that you will reach out to schedule a free consult call! If you do, I promise to bring my authentic self to our work together.
I enjoy working with neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and families, including those with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other disabilities. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or struggling with emotional regulation, relationships, school, or daily life demands. Together, we create a neuroaffirming space where clients can better understand themselves, build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and find approaches that honor the way their brains naturally work. As an art therapist and former elementary school art teacher, I offer a creative, person-centered approach tailored to each client's needs. I incorporate art therapy, sandtray therapy, play therapy, DBT, CBT, and solution-focused techniques to support emotional growth, self-understanding, and meaningful change. I believe healing happens when people are given space to show up as they are. You don't need artistic experience, perfect words, or everything figured out to begin therapy. If you're looking for a compassionate, collaborative space to explore challenges and strengths, I'd be honored to support you.
In therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients to explore themselves and move towards the life they want and deserve. I might be a good therapist fit for you if. . . I specialize in working with queer and trans folks and people with complex relationships with food and body image. I also work with folks who are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, career and relationship uncertainty, caregiver fatigue and chronic stress. I am also polyam, kink and sex worker positive.
