We live in a high-paced world, pulling us in all directions, leading us to feel burnt out and disconnected from other people. You might have become tired of the nagging stress, the strong emotions, the complexity of navigating relationships, or the feeling that something is holding you back from reaching your full potential. Despite all of this, a part of you wants to feel better and move forward. After all, that is why you are taking this major step of seeking help at this moment in your life. In my practice, I construct a safe therapeutic space where you can slow down and breathe. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all formula to address your unique history, personality, and concerns. Therefore, I take a holistic and integrative approach. I consider your difficulties, strengths, where you came from, where you are now, and where you want to be. By working together with clients, I help them cultivate emotional intelligence, deepen honest self-reflection, and increase their motivation to change. Most of my clients aim to reduce stress, improve human connection, and live more meaningful lives. If you are ready to start your journey towards wellness, email me to set up a free no-obligation brief consultation.
Born and raised in Manhattan, I help patients overcome stress to achieve satisfaction and peace in their everyday lives. As a board-certified therapist with two Master's Degrees (Psychology & Clinical Social Work) and full state licensure, I have the education and experience necessary to treat folks suffering from anxiety, depression, social isolation, interpersonal conflict, addiction, relationship issues, avoidance issues, grief, and more. I've honed my assessment and intervention skills through years of working in the medical field, having studied under some of the most prominent psychologists and psychiatrists in New York City. My style is relational and empathic, but at times challenging. It is important to me that my patients achieve the best therapeutic results. I employ different modalities of treatment rooted in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral foundations—I help you understand what goals will most satisfy you, why those goals will satisfy you, and how to achieve them. I have centered my practice around a balance between stoicism and idealism. We only have so much control over what happens in life. I can help you build resilience and anti-fragility in reaction to difficult stimuli. If my services feel like the right fit for you, then please call, text, or email for a free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am excited that you are here and pursuing or continuing your journey with therapy. As a therapist, I passionately believe in creating space for people and their stories. I have worked with with teenagers and adults, as well as first-generation immigrants, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ folks. I utilize various modalities in my work, primarily psychodynamic but also aspects of DBT, CBT, ACT and mindfulness techniques. I am a warm, compassionate therapist who strives to create a non-judgmental, safe space where clients can explore their past, better understand themselves, navigate life challenges and work towards well-being and self acceptance. In our first session, I look forward to hearing about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our time together. Do you hide your feelings from yourself and others, even without intending to? Maybe certain emotions were discouraged or disallowed during your childhood. Maybe you have endured traumatic experiences that make some feelings seem dangerous. Maybe you have been impacted by systemic inequality or prejudice as a result of your identity. For these reasons and others, you may avoid noticing and expressing sadness, loneliness, or anger. Instead, you try to keep yourself busy, mask your pain with jokes and laughter, or rationalize that “it’s not so bad” or “others have it worse.” Rejecting these parts of yourself comes at a very steep cost. Efforts to defend against your feelings can result in depression, anxiety, emptiness, and many other symptoms. Most importantly, remaining hidden compromises relationships. After all, it is hard to connect meaningfully with others when you are disconnected from yourself. Slowing down to make contact with your true feelings is worth the effort. In therapy, we will work together to observe and name the ways in which you have been ignoring your inner experience. As you become aware of your defenses, you will learn to deploy them flexibly rather than automatically. You will grow to tolerate and maybe even appreciate the feelings that used to feel frightening or shameful. With time, you can come to understand yourself better and feel a sense of ease being you.

You deserve to live a life with more joy, ease and confidence. Therapy doesn't have to be a one-sided relationship where you're mulling over your entire life's history and all of the pain! In fact, it can be an enjoyable process; a full, engaging relationship with humor, intellect, creativity, spark and curiosity. I'm a real person in the room with you. Together, we will explore solutions and new ways of thinking, feeling and acting. You and I can experiment in sessions to tap into resources or to find new tools to unburden you from emotional pain, whether that be with mindfulness, cognitive, somatic or creative techniques. With 15+ years of experience, many clients have reported positive changes from our work, including less anxiety, more awareness and clarity and healthier relationships. I also specialize working with ACoAs & Codependency. My first job in the field was working at a college counseling center so I'm also very familiar with working with the 18+ crowd and all of the hassles that can come with college living, relationships and school.
You’ve always been the one who holds it all together — dependable, driven, the go-to person when others need support. But lately, it might feel like the pressure to succeed is coming at the cost of your peace. You’re not alone in that feeling. I work with students who appear to be doing “just fine” on the outside, but underneath are carrying anxiety, self-doubt, and the weight of high expectations. Together, we’ll create space to explore how your past experiences, values, and internal narratives are shaping the way you move through the world — and gently question whether those patterns are still serving you. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. You don’t need to show up with the perfect words or a clear goal — just a willingness to begin.
Hi, I’m a queer-identified therapist who is passionate about creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and adolescents, as well as people in non-traditional relationships]. I believe therapy should be a place where all parts of you are welcome—without judgment, without assumptions, and without having to educate your therapist about your identity or lifestyle. I work with adults, teens, and couples navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, and burnout. Whether you're exploring your identity, managing emotional overwhelm, or navigating complex relational dynamics, my goal is to support you with compassion and evidence-based care. I use an integrative approach to care, basead on your needs. In our work together, we’ll balance insight and self-exploration with skill-building and practical strategies, so you can feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life. My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your lived experience.
Are you waking up already tired, dreading another video meeting, wondering how work that once excited you became so draining? Friends think you’re doing great, yet inside you feel pressure to keep advancing and wonder what it’s all for. Relationships can feel just as complicated, especially when desire clashes with your values or what you “should” want. You may feel lonely even around people. You’re good at thinking logically, but thinking harder hasn’t helped; it keeps you stuck. You want relief, clarity, and a steadier sense of self in work and relationships. I help you step out of overthinking, self-criticism, overwhelm, and repeating relationship loops. We’ll pause when you’d normally push harder, notice thoughts, emotions, and body cues, and make room for a different response. We’ll connect patterns to past experiences, clarify your values, and hold values and feelings without shame so choices feel aligned. If you’ve tried self-help or even AI to “figure it out” and still feel stuck, you’re not alone. Therapy is different: a real relationship where you don’t have to carry the hidden parts by yourself, and support can go deeper than insight alone. We’ll go at a pace that feels safe and honest. If this resonates, reach out to schedule a first session.
