Female-first psychiatric care. If you’re navigating a new season of life—trying to conceive, pregnancy, or perimenopause—or looking for support with treatment of a specific condition such as PMS or PMDD, PCOS, ADHD, depression, or anxiety, I want to offer you the expertise, compassion, and genuine care you deserve. I am a Harvard-trained and board-certified psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I take a conservative approach to medication, taking the time to listen to you and help you make empowered decisions about your mental health. I provide medication management and psychotherapy through a female-first frame: putting you, your needs, and your wellness at the forefront of our work together. I view my work as an opportunity to help women feel seen and supported through the most transformative stages of their lives. My patients’ unique needs are at the forefront of my practice: hearing them when others have not listened, acknowledging their challenges when others have downplayed them, and empowering them to take control of their health, wellness, future, and family. Hello! I’m a therapist who believes that real healing happens through self-compassion, mindfulness, and meaningful connection. If you’re feeling stuck in the same old patterns—overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down emotionally—I’m here to help you shift that. A big part of my work is helping people feel their feelings in a real, embodied way. We’ll slow down, tune into your body, and start to notice what’s actually going on underneath the surface. I use somatic tools to help you reconnect with yourself and move through emotional blocks—not just talk about them. At the same time, I’ll support you in building practical skills that make daily life feel more manageable and empowering. I always keep a trauma-informed lens and acknowledge how systems of oppression and past experiences impact your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Therapy with me is about creating space for change while being kind to yourself along the way. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

I am a clinical psychologist with almost 25 years of experience in working with college students. I began my career at the University of Rochester and later Johns Hopkins University and Loyola University of Maryland. I have been in private practice since 2003. I have specific interests in the treatment of anxiety, depression, body image, eating disorders and chronic medical conditions. I enjoy working with individuals through the developmental transitions of college. Often times people want to improve their relationships, seek support with the stresses of academic and social lives, all while dealing with the various challenges of being a young adult in today's world. The mental health needs of the 18-25 year old age group are unique and therapy can be a safe place to help navigate them.
Aimée understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially in young adulthood, when life can feel overwhelming. Her approach is warm, gentle, and centered on curiosity—she asks the kinds of questions that help you uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, you’ll look at your thoughts and emotions, exploring your personal story in a way that feels safe and supportive. Aimée also focuses on practical tools to help you manage real-life challenges, like stress, anxiety, or tough relationships. She uses mindfulness and staying grounded in the present to help you feel more in control. Whether you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, attachment struggles, trauma, or something more complex, Aimée is here to guide you toward healing and growth at your own pace.

I have worked with Princeton undergraduate and graduate students for many years and understand well the many and varied challenges which students may face; in fact, my MSW field work and my first job were at Princeton's Counseling Center. Many of my clients share a need to explore familial relationships to understand their behavioral patterns and how to make those patterns healthier. My approach ranges from DBT and mindfulness work for anxiety and depression to the traditional psychodynamic and interpersonal therapy. I am also a psychoanalyst, trained at the New Jersey Institute for Psychoanalysis. Among the various issues I treat are anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, behavioral patterns, and academic stress.
My clients seek support in developing coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges associated with the college experience. My foundational approach is rooted in person-centered and strengths-based principles. I employ an eclectic toolkit with methods from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Creative Arts Therapies, and Design Thinking to guide the therapeutic process. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working across diverse settings such as medical clinics, universities, corporate environments, and private practice. This journey has allowed me to connect deeply with people as they share their experiences and craft their intended stories. What energizes me is collaborating with clients as they navigate their unique life paths. My goal is to provide a nurturing and inclusive space that promotes healing – a place where clients feel safe to explore challenges and cultivate a practice of self-compassion.
