Welcome! Thanks for viewing my profile. I have experience working with people who have struggled with their self-esteem, life transitions, depression, anxiety, school, existential crisis, and negative relationships. I can help you navigate your day to day and make connections that you may not have made before. I work with clients to recognize and change unwanted thinking patterns, manage their stress, and prioritize themselves. I want to help people feel better about the future and even the present again. My speciality is cognitive behavioral therapy. I help clients work through how their thoughts and feelings affect their behavior and how their behavior may impact their thoughts and feelings. It's all connected! We will work collaboratively to replace negative thinking patterns, regulate emotions, and practice self care and boundary setting. Therapy doesn't have to be scary. In fact, it can actually be fun and this is a judgement free zone. I promise. I am looking forward to holding space for you. Please feel free to reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit!
Like most of my clients I have my own share of childhood trauma. I’ve had to deconstruct childhood messages of not being good enough. I’ve had to learn to set boundaries and learn that I’m not required to put others' needs above my own. I think learning that I'm loved and worthy, even when other's are angry with me has been the most difficult lesson of all. The very path that many of you are starting out on, I have walked myself. This journey isn't about reliving your worst memories, it's about taking away their power. I’ve worked hard to reclaim my own story, now I want to help you reclaim yours. I specialize in helping those with anxiety and trauma, both in individual and couples counseling. Using the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parts work, and EMDR approaches I help client's find ways to ease the sharp edges of relationships and life. I help find ways to navigate difficulties in life and move with ease and grace. I'm not a passive therapist and I actively work to help build skills you can use every day. I like to use humor, playful sarcasm, and just enough of “tell it like it is” to help you reach your personal summits. I will challenge you to stretch but not break your comfort zones. I will also sometimes be the kick in the pants you need.

Sometimes life presents challenges. But you don’t have to face these challenges alone. I provide a nonjudgmental safe space to work through whatever is holding you back from living your best life. Stress? Let’s talk about it. Anxiety? Let’s come up with some tools. Sports related pressure? Let’s tackle it. Family? I get it! Hi there. I work with teens and adults through complex trauma, relationships, life transitions, grief, anxiety and depression (to name a few). I also work with the marginalized in our communities, BIPOC, disabled, persons with chronic/rare illness and LGBTQ+. My practice is open to all. If you are feeling stuck or unsure about your next steps, I can help. I practice by getting in touch with our nervous systems as we navigate life's hardships. I use emotionally focused therapy and some somatic work. Get in touch should you need an empathetic person to walk side by side with you or if you would like to gain skills to help communicate with others.
As a modern therapist, I take an active and collaborative approach. I’m not just going to focus on the symptoms being presented - I want to understand the root cause behind your struggles and genuinely get to know you as a human. I love working with women who are motivated to grow and have a desire to understand themselves on a deeper level. Through our work together, we’ll unpack your story to understand your barriers and help you cultivate a new level of self-awareness. We’ll explore how you can implement new tools to better navigate your emotions, address relationship challenges, and gain confidence within. I’ll maintain a balance of supporting you and gently challenging you so that you can begin living an intentional and fulfilling life - whatever that looks like to you. My commitment is to not judge you, and to provide a space where you can show up as your authentic self.

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. I work best with individuals who are navigating the impact of trauma and who are open to exploring how their past continues to live in their body and shape their present. Together, we’ll gently uncover how your experiences have influenced your nervous system, your emotions, and your inner narrative—so that healing can begin not just in the mind, but in the body as well. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that the body holds deep wisdom. Through Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, yoga, breathwork, and sound therapy, I support clients in reconnecting with their inner guidance system—the intuition that emerges when we truly listen inward. This work can bring about clarity, regulation, and a felt sense of peace that goes beyond intellectual insight. At its core, my work is relational and intuitive. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in connection—with self, with body, and with another safe presence. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you explore your story and reconnect with your innate capacity for resilience and wholeness. If you’re feeling the pull toward deeper healing—toward safety, embodiment, and self-trust—I invite you to schedule a consultation. You don’t have to do this alone.

Many of the college students I work with are balancing classes, jobs, relationships, and questions about who they are—and that can feel overwhelming. I often help students who are navigating academic stress, identity changes, and family expectations, while also working to feel more confident and handle life’s challenges without burning out. As a Latino and LGBTQ+ therapist, I understand how culture, family, and identity can shape your college experience and sometimes add extra pressure. In our work together, I use proven counseling methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to give you practical tools for managing emotions and relationships. I create a safe, welcoming space where your whole self is valued, and where you can explore who you are, challenge old beliefs, and build skills to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

If you are looking to feel in control of your life again and get back to enjoying life, you have come to the right place!
