Hello! I am Dr. Janice Delgado. I offer online therapy to college students and young adults that are looking to find meaning and connection or improve their relationship with themselves and others. I have specific training and several years of experience working in college counseling centers. I work through a Client-Centered and Trauma-Informed lens to help my clients understand the relationship between their life experiences and worldview with their current struggles. My goal is to help you find new ways to perceive old situations and create a bridge toward resilience. Therapy may be a good space for you to figure out which obstacles are keeping you from becoming the best version of yourself. I assist clients in navigating depression, stress, life transitions, relationship distress, trauma and struggles related to their life stage. I can help you gain confidence, develop self-understanding and learn strategies to manage distress. I believe in the importance of creating safe spaces and meaningful relationships for growth. You can expect a warm, judgement-free space when meeting with me.

Therapy can be a great tool, regardless of what you might be going through in life. I understand that each person's story is unique and, therefore, so is his or her therapeutic experience. I am a psychotherapist and coach who will work with you to develop strategies for overcoming barriers in your life. I believe it's very important to have a good connection and rapport with your therapist. Due to this, I work to create a comfortable and safe environment to allow for progress and growth. I have nearly a decade of clinical experience working with clients in a variety of clinical settings. I have successfully treated individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, work/school stress, and difficult life transitions.

I specialize in ADHD, depression, autism and working with gender-diverse and other LGBTQ+ individuals. I believe that every person, no matter what challenges life has brought them, deserves to live life to their fullest potential. I welcome and embrace all aspects of lived experience and work to help individuals feel safe and comfortable in articulating their deepest feelings. I have a strong interest in working with teens and young adults, empowering them on the path of self discovery and finding their unique place in the world. I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in 2017. Since then, I have worked for Riverside Community Care gaining considerable experience in working with anxiety issues, self regulation and the challenges of family relationships. My trainings in Modern psychoanalysis from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and Motivational Interviewing developed my skills as a compassionate listener. I take a holistic approach to my work and believe that attention to mind, body and spirit is essential for healing. I integrate my additional trainings in mind/body wellness, Integrative Health and Wellness (including nutrition), yoga and Tai Chi, into my practice when and where appropriate.

I believe the greatest gift a therapist can offer is full presence with a compassionate ear. Many of my clients have sought therapy because something that was working for them was no longer working, or they noticed patterns in their lives that they wanted to change. Many felt unseen, unheard, and stuck in relationships. Some noticed patterns of anxiety or anger impact their relationship with others or their work. Some were experiencing family estrangement, contemplating cutoff, or processing the loss of a loved one. Whatever it is that brings you to our therapy space, I want you to walk away from a session having felt that I was with you on the other side, to make sense of things when nothing was making sense. Give yourself permission to be here as you are. What we acknowledge and admit to another becomes more real, and you matter. In our therapy space, even if you take your shoes off at the door, you can bring your whole self. I work with clients whose journey to therapy has been filled with ingenious ways to make due with what they have. Many find a major life transition (relationship, career, moving, school) challenging their current tools. Using attachment-based, somatic, and mindfulness-based therapies, we learn to slow down--to feel and then deal. To see where we may be unskillfully expending resources and how to reclaim them. Using an integrated-brain approach that values insight but doesn't stop there, I equip clients with an understanding of themselves in both their verbal and somatic narrative. As a social work-trained therapist, I strive to ensure that our therapeutic relationship is a refuge from larger systemic harm and trauma. I invite you to bring with you your current resources, social location, and values that you have inherited from your family of origin, ancestors, and communities. Please feel free to contact me for a free 20 minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit together.

What if getting better didn't mean spending years talking about everything that's ever gone wrong? I work with college and grad students to build real, lasting change by providing insight and skills that actually help. With over a decade of clinical work in the US and abroad, I've helped young adults manage anxiety, quiet the perfectionism and imposter syndrome that follow them into every exam and internship, while creating a healthy type of confidence that remains under pressure. My clients describe working with me as supportive, direct, collaborative, and nothing like what they expected therapy to be. We figure out what's driving the pattern. Then we work on changing it. I specialize in: anxiety, burnout and stress, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. My approach pulls from CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, grounded in a trauma-informed model. You don't have to have it figured out to start. Currently offering Online Therapy throughout Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, and Florida. Whether you are in Boston, NYC, or Denver, I am ready when you are.

I work primarily with those suffering from chronic illness. Difficult to treat medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, etc. are often poorly understood, and it can be very difficult for patients to find the help and support they need. I teach my clients tools for coping with and managing every day life with these conditions, in addition to mind body medicine practices to help alleviate symptoms and to decrease stress. I have recently started offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way to cope with life stressors or trauma.

Chronic stress is not a requirement for success at work, at school or in relationships. If you are feeling depressed, anxious, or isolated, and/or coping with unhealthy habits, regaining balance is possible. Even the healthiest individuals can struggle to maintain physical, mental, and emotional balance in our high-tech, high-stress culture. In a judgment-free and solution-focused environment, we will work together to help you find more life satisfaction and confidence. I use only evidence-based, reliable practices in a safe, comfortable environment to help you feel better about your life direction.

Hello! I have worked as an individual therapist for 7 years and I am excited to be adding more practice hours to my North Shore schedule. I have a lot of experience working with young adults during life transitions; helping people to find strength as they move with intention through uncertainty. Recognizing a desire for something different is a great place to start, and searching for a therapist to support you on your journey is a brave next step! I offer a non-judgmental supportive environment where you can develop a better understanding of your unique emotional experience. Together we will find ways to create meaningful and sustainable positive change in your life. I am happy to offer a free 15 minutes phone consultation to better understand your needs and explain the services I can offer. Hello! I am currently accepting new patients. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Colorado. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options. This is a judgement free zone. There is no way you can TMI me! My primary role in our sessions is diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. The role I have in therapy is very small. Most clients are already in therapy or have been referred by therapists to me. All sessions are conducted by tele-medicine. **Offering flexible hours, evening appointments available, also some weekends. **

I work with anxious, overwhelmed women, including college students, young adults, millennials, and moms, who often feel stuck in their heads, emotionally drained, or unsure of themselves despite appearing capable and successful on the outside. You may be struggling with overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, stress, social anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, life transitions, or the pressure of trying to keep up with everyone's expectations while figuring out what you truly want for yourself. Using CBT, mindfulness, and holistic approaches, I help you better understand your patterns, manage anxiety, navigate big emotions, build self-confidence, and create healthier boundaries. Together, we'll work toward reducing overwhelm, quieting your inner critic, and helping you feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to what matters most. Therapy is an opportunity to slow down, gain clarity, explore your identity and goals, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Whether you're adjusting to college, navigating a major life transition, struggling with relationships, or simply feeling lost, stuck, or overwhelmed, you don't have to figure it out alone. If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to support you.
