I use a creative and relational approach to find the appropriate fusion of therapeutic interventions to support your needs and work through identified challenges. I have significant interest and expertise in relationship work (specifically healthy/unhealthy relationship practices that can be applied to romantic, platonic, or familial relationships). I support adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and periods of transition that may leave them feeling disconnected or unsure of their next steps. While I have a particular passion for supporting women of color, I work with clients from a variety of backgrounds who are looking to build confidence, strengthen boundaries, and create a greater sense of belonging and connection in their lives. Together, we'll help you reconnect with yourself, your values, and the relationships that matter most. I work with clients experiencing loneliness, social disconnection, or uncertainty during periods of transition. Whether you're navigating changes in relationships, adjusting to a new stage of life, or hoping to build deeper connections, we can work together to cultivate a stronger sense of belonging and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. Prior to private practice, I worked with youth and families in the foster care system, an experience that deepened my appreciation for resilience, community, and the importance of supportive relationships. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I specialize in supporting women of color navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and life transitions that leave them feeling disconnected from themselves, others, or their sense of direction. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences with curiosity rather than criticism. I primarily draw from cognitive behavioral approaches while tailoring treatment to each client's unique experiences, values, and goals. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress, challenge ways of thinking that no longer serve you, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help clients build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and move through life with greater clarity, self-trust, and intention.

I take an active, culturally sensitive approach in practice, equipping you with skills and practical tools to help you maintain the benefits of therapy beyond our sessions. I have widespread experience working with a diverse population and a variety of disorders including depression, anxiety disorders, relationship and adjustment issues, PTSD, ADHD and OCD. Taking the step to seek therapy can feel daunting, but we will work together to help you feel better. I offer virtual sessions and invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. Counseling starts with building connections with therapists who recognize the significance of language and culture. As a therapist, I rely on my knowledge of the Latina/o community to communicate with clients about mental health stigma, develop trust, and discuss resources available. I can provide therapy in English and Spanish for those who wish to conduct sessions fully in Spanish. In my therapy work, I take a nonjudgmental approach and allow you to be you. I specialize in helping clients navigate grief and loss, anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, trauma, and major life transitions. I’ve worked with children, teens, adults, and older adults, and I adapt my approach to meet you where you are. Whether you’re holding deep sadness, feeling stuck in stress, or looking for new ways to cope, I’ll help you identify what’s working, build new tools, and move forward with more self-trust.

College and the years around it can stir up a lot. Anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, questions around substance use, and sometimes experiences that are genuinely hard to carry alone. If any of that feels familiar, you've found someone who understands. I work with adults and young adults, and I believe most of what brings people to therapy makes sense once we understand the story behind it. Many of the patterns causing you pain today were once the ways you learned to survive. My style is warm, compassionate, and direct, and I'll meet you with acceptance rather than judgment. A significant part of my work has involved supporting people through addiction and recovery, alongside trauma, attachment, and the search for identity. My approach draws on psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed perspectives, with attention to both mind and body. We'll move at your pace, and telehealth makes it easy to fit therapy around a full schedule. Whatever you're facing, you won't face it alone.
