I specialize in the assessment of neurological, developmental and learning challenges. As a neuropsychologist and certified school psychologist, most of my time is spent on neuropsychological evaluations for educational purposes, helping students with developmental delays, learning disabilities, ADHD and brain injuries, including concussions. Over the years, my services have grown with my patients to include services for adults with these same challenges as well. I am on staff at Doylestown Hospital and, as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), I serve as the neuropsychological consultant to the Bucks County IU’s BrainSTEPS Program, where we work to help students with concussions and severe brain injuries re-enter school successfully.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, phase of life issues, adjusting to new education and career changes, suicidal thoughts, chronic pain, and chronic illness. I am committed to supporting parents raising children with intellectual or developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. I strive to meet you wherever you are on your path, guiding and supporting you as you uncover new insights and coping strategies that truly work for you. My warm, empathetic style creates a welcoming environment where you can explore your experiences with confidence, knowing that you are receiving quality care rooted in understanding and respect.

Things were ok until college started, but now the social stressors, time management, relationships, or even just getting easy assignments done is hard. You have/need an ADHD or Autism diagnosis, or maybe people tell you that you should, but what does that really mean? I can help you understand what this means for you; how impacts you, and what this might mean in relationships. This might include work on planning, executive functioning, anxiety, working on personal goal setting/finding direction, or a diagnostic evaluation, or being yourself. You'll have a safe place to be yourself, insight into your life, and concrete tips for moving forward, allowing you to be the best possible version of yourself. It's about you.

Great to meet you! My area of specialty is working with young children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with mood dysregulation, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and conduct behavioral and eating disorders. Over the past five years, I have been providing therapeutic services to young children and their families, assisting them with addressing behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, resolving conflicts, and breaking generational curses (trauma). A bit about my approach to therapy As a licensed psychotherapist, I focus on the six areas of personal development: spiritual, mental, emotional, intellectual, physical, and social. The foundation of my work involves using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) and Person-Centered to help guide clients to eliminate unwanted behaviors and replace them with the healthy behaviors they desire. My passion is to empower children and their families and help them overcome any unwanted obstacles, increase self-awareness, promote healthy communication, and establish healthy coping skills. What you can expect from our first session To create self-independence and eliminate unhealthy coping skills and modify them with healthy coping skills.

Life is challenging and trying to figure out who you are, where you are going and what your purpose is, is hard enough. Then we throw in friendships, romantic relationships, careers and family dynamics and we can get overwhelmed so easily. In therapy we work together to find clarity. I have significant experience helping young adults in their 20s and 30s to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression by exploring relationship and work difficulties, figuring out adulthood, and navigate feeling lost amongst your peers. I work with college students and young professionals navigating young early adulthood. Where we go in therapy depends on you. I take my expertise and knowledge and tailor it to meet your personal needs and what would bring you relief. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion with a focus on living a life that makes you feel fulfilled. Whether this is your first time looking for a therapist or you've traveled down this road before, good for you. Asking for help requires courage. If you are looking to work with a therapist that will be interactive, non-judgmental, empathic and kind, reach out to see if we are a good fit. We will set up at 10minute call to see if we are good fit!

Life can be hard. Relationships can be hard. Transitions and unexpected changes in life can throw you off balance. When you are feeling, sad, worried, scared or uncertain and wondering what the future holds, you may become overly distressed. If you want to learn how to understand yourself better and cope more effectively with the challenges of life, let's talk. I would love to connect with you!
Hi! I'm Cat. You've probably been to a therapist before, and it hasn't quite felt right. Or maybe you liked them, but felt disconnected from their approach. Felt that there was a way to work more deeply with your emotions, but your therapist wanted to talk about your thoughts, and give you homework. Felt really bogged down in the details, and the negative, of what's been going on in your life. Haven't really laughed. In our work together, we will privilege the positive. We will laugh. (And likely cry, too.) We'll develop a relationship that will "undo the aloneness" that we feel when our emotions are held within for waaaay too long. Therapy is specifically tailored to the person who is sitting in front of me, and will look different for everyone. Above everything, you will be heard and seen. In addition to therapy, I also offer mindfulness meditation classes to ease the stress of daily living. Reach out - I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
We are a small private practice in Philadelphia and we treat a range of issues including general anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life changing events such as divorce, loss, grief and intimacy issues. By forming strong bonds, We enable clients to explore feelings, thoughts and behaviors to foster growth and positive change. Together we will work to help you free yourself from the familial, social and cultural expectations which often constrain us and become internalized truths. I encourage you to reach out and see if one of our clinicians feels like a good match to you.
College can be a wild mix of freedom and stress... with friend drama, missing home but wanting independence, figuring out what you want to do with your life, financial pressure, loneliness when friend groups shift, and the everyday weight of adult responsibilities starting to pile up. It’s a lot to carry, and it makes sense if you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure how to handle it all. And then, when you’re finally ready to reach out for support, finding a therapist can feel like another full-time assignment. Scrolling through endless profiles feels a little like online dating... you’re reading way too many bios, everyone sounds kind of the same, and you’re left wondering who you’ll actually click with. Add in the stress of costs, schedules, and trying to figure out if they’ll really get what you’re going through, and it’s exhausting before you even start. My goal is to make that step less overwhelming and give you a space where you don’t have to perform, pretend, or have it all figured out.
College is hard. Trying to balance school work, activities and time with friends while managing relationships with family members or existing supports takes a lot of energy. It can be hard to find the time to do everything that needs done. Getting motivated to do things and figuring out how to prioritize school/work is a challenge in its own right. Whether it's relationship issues, struggles with focusing and stating motivated, or school/work stress, we will work on what you want to work on and figure out together how to accomplish the goals you want to accomplish. You don't have to go through things alone. This is a judgement free zone. Call today or email today for a free consultation.
